Step 2: Cook the Beef
1 onion diced
1.50 kg extra lean beef mince
100 ml Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp Italian herbs seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
80 g tomato paste
4 garlic cloves diced
Preparation

- Heat a large pan over medium heat and add a splash of oil.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until it softens and takes on some golden color.
- Add the beef mince, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks until it’s nearly done.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, Italian herbs, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, and smoked paprika.
- When the beef is almost fully cooked, add the tomato paste and diced garlic cloves.
- Mix thoroughly and cook for a few more minutes until the beef is fully cooked and the flavors meld together. Set aside.
